About Your Stay

The house gets its name from the area being known for its juniper - Aiteannach is Gaelic for 'place where juniper grows'.

The property is built to a very high standard, fixtures, fittings and most furnishings are brand new with some quirky upcycled and antique pieces too.

The house has underfloor heating, triple glazing, woodburning stove, covered patio area with lovely views and own private garden.

We accept four guests (including children) and up to one additional infant. Please contact us with any queries about this.

Two bedrooms at the rear of the property - one double and one twin, both with fitted wardrobes with full length mirrors. Roman blinds to the triple glazed aluminium clad windows. Soft fluffy white towels provided. Hairdryer.

Generous hallway with plenty of space to store coats, boots and outdoor equipment.

Bathroom houses (in purpose built cupboard) washing machine/tumble dryer, items for babies such as potty and high chair, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. Rainfall shower over bath and sink with vanity storage.

To the front of the property is the living space has an airy feel with a vaulted ceiling. There is a comfortable sitting area with smart TV. The velvet chairs, sofa and woodburning stove make this a wonderful space to relax and unwind. Fixed panes of glass allow views and light to be maximised. Wide 3 metre doors lead out to a covered patio area for evening drinks or BBQs.

The property is situated on a croft (small farm) and is surrounded by fields and trees and set back from the single track road with private parking and garden area. The driveway is shared with the owners who also live on the croft.

Other things to note
We recommend you do a food shop before you arrive. The nearest big supermarkets are in Fort William or Inverness, depending on your direction of travel. With a smaller shop in Fort Augustus and a garage with basic supplies in the village.

Beautiful modern, spacious property in a peaceful setting with everything you need to make your holiday trouble and stress free. Lots of lovely walks from the accommodation or a short drive away.
Anna is so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Would definitely visit again.

Suzanne

We had a geat stay here and even extended it for another day, as we didn't want to leave. Lots of walking to do straight from the property without having to get in a car.

Very peaceful and on a cloudless night you can see so many stars.

David

Anna's place was perfect in every way regarding location, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Although the owners live next door we very much had our own space and privacy.

Peaceful setting for sitting outdoors listening to the bird song. We identified 12 different species (with the help of an app!).

The eggs provided by the resident hens were delicious.

We would happily book here again if in the area.

Diana

This place was incredible! So neat, clean, and tidy! It was the perfect highland retreat for our family!

Close to Loch Ness and easy drive to Fort William.

Stay here if it’s available!

Can’t speak highly enough of this place!
